Due to Covid-19, Zhengbang's teams were unable to travel to France for animal selection. Based on our customer's selection requirements, the selection in France was carried out directly by Cooperl and Nucléus teams.

In order to keep the customer informed in real time, we communicated every day detailed information on each breeding selection by sending photos of the sorting operations.

During the transfer of animals to Paris-Vatry airport, biosecurity regulations have been strictly applied.

The second batch of 1,500 breeders arrived safely at Kunming Airport on July 9 and 10 by two planes. After official inspection by Chinese health services, they were shipped to the customer's quarantine.

In 2020, Zhengbang Group signed an first contract to purchase 4,000 breeding animals with Nucléus, a subsidiary of Cooperl. This order is the largest import order ever to be placed in China. In addition, 2,000 additional animals have already been ordered by the same customer ZhengBang, which will bring the number of breeding animals exported from France to this customer to 6,000.

Despite this difficult period, related to the Coronavirus epidemic, a first batch of more than 1,000 breeding animals arrived safely at Kunming Airport (South China) on March 8. After the on-site inspection by Chinese Customs veterinarians, this batch was then shipped to the customer's quarantine farm.

Founded in 1966 by 24 farmers, Cooperl is today the leader in the production of pig meat in France. We work for sustainable agriculture and we are therefore protagonists on many fundamental issues - stopping castration, pigs raised without antibiotics, buildings without slurry, nutrition of precision, logistics platform, order preparation, methanation, etc.

To associate our image with this innovative dynamic and with our commitments, to echo our modernity, we have created a new logo !

We thus leave our red oval to take on a statutory blue, more neutral. This refined logo remains in the continuity of the original logo, allowing our cooperative to capitalize on its rich history and its strong values.

Our actions and commitments being implemented on a daily basis by our 7 major activities in France, this new identity is also intended to enhance them.

This new logo will take place for the first time at SPACE, from September 10 to 13, on a brand new stand. This International Agricultural french trade fair allows us to present to our members our innovative solutions and ambitions driven by a goal: to create a value intended for them, in favor of production in line with the environment, animals and people.

Our cooperative wins the Valorise 2020 trophy, medium-sized / large companies category, for "setting up a continuous and sustainable improvement approach for animal welfare, with the flagship action stopping the castration of male pigs".

This good practice received the highest rating, a rating taking into account both the vote of the brands and its popularity on the VALORISE platform (number of “likes”).

Promote the reward as well as the virtuous CSR approaches and the best practices of companies or cooperatives. This is excellent news which rewards the fruit of the work of the entire sector and which brings visibility to our actions in favor of animal welfare, particularly with our customers.

On Thursday September 17th, Calipro inaugurated its new exhibition hall specially dedicated to breeding, located instead of its old store, at 5 rue d'Armor in Lamballe, in Brittany !

There are now 1000 m² of exhibition devoted to equipment for breeders, making it the largest permanent breeding exhibition space in France !

For the occasion, more than 20 partners came to present their solutions and discuss with breeders: a great moment of sharing around our professions. Among them were also craftsmen and companies specializing in masonry, carpentry, food, ventilation ... with a stand at their disposal to favor moments of discussion.

It is now possible to see, touch and test all the solutions that Calipro offers for livestock building projects: maternity, gestation, post-weaning, fattening, lighting, water treatment, biosecurity, connected breeding ... and well moreover !

The event also took place on the networks with a new Facebook Live of approximately 40 minutes during which our Internet users were able to virtually visit the exhibition hall and have some explanations from our partners.
